Enrolled Agent (EA)

ROI Tax is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our tax team. You will work closely with clients to prepare and file tax returns, resolve tax issues, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws. As an Enrolled Agent, you will be responsible for representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and providing expert advice on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax codes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner. You will be expected to stay up to date with the latest tax regulations and use your expertise to help clients minimize their tax liabilities and maximize their financial well-being. This role requires a high level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Represent clients in audits, appeals, and other tax-related proceedings before the IRS.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance.
  • Analyze financial information to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and representation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
